Expansion Wave Low Fin Tube Stainless Steel TP310S For Heat Exchangers

 

Expansion wave tubes, one type of low fin tubes, they are high-performance heat transfer components engineered by combining expansion wave (corrugated) tube geometry with low-fin enhancement, delivering exceptional thermal efficiency while mitigating fouling, reducing pressure drop, and extending service life across demanding industrial environments. 

 

Tube body features precisely controlled periodic corrugations, allowing for the management of turbulence in both internal and external fluid flows. This breaks down the thermal boundary layer, eliminates stagnant flow regions, and significantly improves the heat transfer coefficient, far exceeding the capabilities of smooth tubes. The corrugated pattern also introduces controlled mechanical flexibility, reducing thermal fatigue stress under cyclic heating/cooling conditions.

 

Material Compatibility:Available in a full range of industrial-grade materials. Like CS A179,A106 Gr.B, SS TP304, TP316L, TP321, TP310S, AS P5, P11, P22, T11, T22, etc.

SS TP310S Key Properties

 

This material is oxidation-resistant, forming a protective chromium oxide layer that prevents oxidation and peeling at high temperatures. Furthermore, its mechanical properties remain stable even under high temperatures; TP310S can withstand temperatures up to 1100 degrees Celsius (2012 degrees Fahrenheit), making it ideal for extreme high-temperature environments.
